Dear Rotary Family,It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear fellow Rotarian and friend, Michael Cooley. Michael left us on November 14th at Baystate Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and a profound commitment to Rotary ideals.e image to change it.Michael became a cherished member of our Rotary family on July 17, 2015, with Bob Dambrov as his sponsor. From the moment he joined, Michael embodied the true spirit of Rotary, always eager to lend a helping hand and contribute to our community through his unwavering dedication to service.In remembrance of Michael, the Cooley family is hosting services at the Mount Sinai Temple, located at 1100 Dickinson St in Springfield, this Friday at 11:00. Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at the Temple to celebrate Michael's life and the impact he had on us all.As Rotarians, we find solace and strength in coming together during moments of loss. If you plan to attend the memorial service, we kindly ask you to join us in sitting together to honor Michael's memory. President Marie will be in the vestibule at 10:55 and would be grateful if you could wear your Rotary pins as a symbol of our shared commitment.Let us gather not only to mourn the loss of a remarkable Rotarian but also to celebrate the life of a man whose legacy will continue to inspire us. Michael's memory will live on through the positive impact he made on the world around him.
