This month we inducted three Rotarians into our Club: Heather Hasenjager from M&T Bank, Flavia Cote and Flavia McCaughey from FR Investment Group. We are honored to have them join our Club, and I encourage you to warmly welcome them when you see them at the meetings.
"Service Above Self" is a powerful motto that captures the essence of the Rotary Club's mission to impact the world positively. It's a call to action, a reminder that we all have a responsibility to contribute to the greater good and to help those in need.
Each one of us has the power to make a difference, no matter how small. Whether volunteering our time at a local charity, donating to a worthy cause, or simply spreading kindness and compassion in our daily interactions, every service can help create a ripple effect of positive change.
Rotarians have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share the same passion for service and making a positive impact in the community. So, for whose who want to give back and make a difference in the world, consider joining the Springfield Rotary Club. Together, we can work towards creating a brighter future for all.
Saturday April 1- Post-PETS/ District Training Assembly 8:30 am-2pm. The event will be held at La Quinta Inn 100 Congress Street Springfield, MA. We look forward to seeing all Club officers, members interested in networking to learn more about the many opportunities Rotary has to offer in the district and beyond. There will be a special session, Rotary 101 for new members. Presidents elect will have classes that help them put into action the tools they’ve acquired at NE PETS.
Saturday April 22- Multi District Conference- Burlington Mass. Meet Rotary members from all over New England. Come here guest speaker Evan Burrell who’s traveling from Australia to speak about Public Image.
Saturday May 20- Rotary Day of Service (12 Districts participating)- Consider having your club do a project on this day. If you need help and guidance, reach out to District leaders.
Sunday June 11- District Installation brunch, 11 am- 2 pm. The Log Cabin 500 Easthampton Rd Holyoke, MA 01040 Please encourage all club members to attend this event where we honor and install all presidents and district officers.
