Dear Rotarians,

In the next few months, we will be working on a strategic plan to shape our Club for the next three years. As you may know, drafting a strategic plan involves creating a vision with supporting goals that can be measured and revised as needed. Our goal as a Club will be to create a vision with strategic priorities to help us achieve our vision. We will also be developing annual goals that support each strategic priority. Sounds like a lot of work, I know, but my goal will be to make our meetings fun and engaging. All we need is for you to attend the meeting with an open mind and be willing to participate in the process.

This Friday, July 22nd, after introductions, Club announcements, and updates, we will use our meeting time to begin working on our Club strategic plan. It will be a very important meeting for all Rotarians to attend. I hope to see you there and please reach out to me directly if you have any questions.

A Time for Response and Community Support: GRANTS FOR NON-PROFITS

The Rotary Club of Springfield, Massachusetts, will make grants available to Springfield-based non-profit organizations that benefit the Greater Springfield Community.

The 2022-2023 grant cycle will award recipients up to a $2,000 grant.

Non-profits with a 501c3 status are eligible to apply using the below application. Organizations may use the grant for any capital improvement project related to one of the causes of Rotary International. Please visit for more information: https://www.rotary.org/en/our-causes

The timeline for the grant application is as follows: Monday, August 1, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Grant applications after August 1, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. will be disqualified.
