I want to take a moment to remind you of the incredible power of service above self. As community members, professionals, and business owners, we have a unique opportunity to give back to our communities in meaningful ways.
By engaging in community service, we not only help those around us, but we also strengthen the bonds of our community and create a better world for future generations. Whether it's volunteering at a local food bank, organizing a charity event, or simply lending a helping hand to someone in need, every act of kindness makes a difference.
Remember, we are all in this together, and it is our collective responsibility to make the world a better place. So let us continue to serve with passion, dedication, and a commitment to making a positive impact in our communities.
Thank you for your continued service, and for embodying the spirit of Rotary's motto: "Service above self."
Rotary Day of Service is a special day in the Rotary calendar, where Rotarians engage in various service projects and activities. It is a chance for us to demonstrate our commitment to service above self and to showcase the positive impact that Rotary has on communities worldwide. This year our Club will join the Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity to build a home in Holyoke. You don't need any prior construction experience to participate.
