I look forward to seeing you this Friday where Committee Chairs will provide detailed updates for their projects during our Club Assembly meeting. Lamont is working diligently on his 2017/18 slate and finalizing. Meetings have occurred with Lamont, Jack, Peter Pappas and me to discuss the slate. Our Slate Chair, Peter Pappas will present proposed slate during our meeting on Friday.
We will also finalize our International and Polio fundraising along with have a raffle for those who have contributed.
Last Call for The Rotary Foundation 16-17 Drive!
On February 3rd at the Club Assembly, we will be holding a special raffle for all Rotarians who have participated in the 2016-2017 Foundation Drive.
If your name is drawn you will win a prize. The Gates Foundation matches each $1 donated on 2:1 basis so your donation of $100 turns into $300!
The Foundation is a living and breathing entity that goes far beyond Ending Polio. The latest efforts move beyond eradication to disease to prevention of future health crisis with introduction of the WASH program to teach hygiene in schools in the developing world the club’s goal is 100% participation. Currently we are just shy of our $6,000 goal and you can bring us over the finish line.
