As we enter the fall season, I am struck by the 90-degree temperatures. Is it really fall? The Big E and the coming autumn events tell me that it is in fact fall. Among the autumn events we look forward to each year is the Service Above Self Luncheon. Just this morning the SAS committee met to start the push toward the 10th Annual event on November 22. As it is the 10th, we want to see good attendance from our membership. Mark the date on your calendar. Information about tickets and ads in the program book will be coming your way soon.
I will be attending the West Springfield Rotary meeting this week to learn about their project in India which we helped to fund. I will be sure to have some interesting information to share.
This Friday we will be welcoming Mark Brady our District Governor to our Club Assembly meeting. Mark will share with us some of his priorities for this year. We will also be hearing from our committees with updates on our projects and club business. It should be a lively and informative meeting. Please try to attend. We want Mark to see us at our best.
