The results are in and the majority of members have voted for changing our meeting location but keeping the meetings at the same time on Fridays at 12noon.

Rotary Foundation Appeal Nears Half-Way Mark

Campaign chair Jack Toner reports our 2021-22 Rotary Foundation appeal has raised $2,775, with 11 of 35 members donating to date. If you haven’t yet done so, you can make a secure credit card gift online by clicking here: Rotary Club of Springfield Rotary Foundation Appeal.

Thanks also to Jana Seiler, a guest at our December holiday meeting, who also contributed after hearing Jack’s impassioned appeal to our Club.

The Rotary Foundation is the vehicle Rotarians use to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty across the globe. The Rotary Foundation is the heart of Rotary’s reach of beyond local fellowship and service to help make our world a better place.

WHAT IS A ROTARY FOUNDATION SUSTAINING MEMBER?

A Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member is an individual who personally contributes $100 or more each Rotary year to the Annual Fund. These contributions also count toward Paul Harris Fellow, Multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society, EREY, Major Donor, and club recognition.

Encourage your members to make a gift to the Foundation on Giving Tuesday, which is 1 December. Share our video message
Give the gift of Rotary this holiday season. Share our digital flyer with members and potential donors.
Learn more about our new peer-to-peer fundraising tool, Raise for Rotary, where you can create fundraising pages that are easy to share with family and friends through social media and email.
