President's Message

Bert Carter

We are down to the wire.  Please bring all sold tickets and funds to this Friday’s meeting, if you have not turned them in already.  We will begin drawing the winners at the meeting this week. This week’s prizes are exciting, including gift cards from Frigo’s, Amazon, La Fiorentina, and Delaney House.  We also have a Family Four Pack from the Springfield Museums and a Four Pack from the Thunderbirds. Finally, some lucky winner will get a semester long Sign Language class at Willie Ross.  If you still have unsold tickets, make that final push to sell them all. If you need more tickets, I still have some and can get them to you.

So far, our sales leader is Rick Lee, followed closely by John Perez and Peter Pappas.  We have a prize for the top sales person and another to raffle off. So, the more tickets you sell the more chances you have to win.

Don’t lose sight of why we are doing this.  The funds raised will support our Service Fund and allow us to award more grants this spring at the Paul Harris Dinner.  The grants help local non profits do important work in our communities.

Let’s make that final push!

In Service,

Bert

ST. PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION

On March 20th we will have a very casual and Irish themed meeting at the Irish Cultural Center located at 429 Morgan Road in West Springfield.

We’ll order off the menu and the bar will be open so come and enjoy St. Patrick’s Day a wee bit later!

Wear a little bit of green and get in the spirit of the holiday!

CHALK IT UP!

We are excited to share that Chalk It Up 2020 registration is now open.   The cost is $5 per participant.  Each participant is given chalk, a designated square of sidewalk and a t-shirt.   As we solicit sponsorships, Steve and Jack would like to be able to share with potential sponsors that we have children already signed up to participate several months prior to the event. Please share the link below with your families and friends and encourage them to participate.   Thank you to Rick Lee who set up the online registration.

REMINDERS

Please bring any sold raffle tickets to the meetings and give them to Bert.

Club assembly is scheduled for March 20, 2020.
