As we begin a new Rotary year, Rotary International has introduced the 2026–2027 presidential message: "Create Lasting Impact." This message encourages Rotarians around the world to build on the connections we've made through service and work together to create meaningful, sustainable change in our communities and beyond.
For the Rotary Club of Springfield, this theme aligns perfectly with our commitment to Service Above Self. Through our service projects, community grants, fundraising events, and fellowship, we will continue creating a lasting impact—one project, one partnership, and one act of service at a time. We look forward to another year of making a difference together.
This year, we were proud to welcome five outstanding new members to the Rotary Club of Springfield:
Jeromie Whalen - Technology, Communications & Media Production Teacher, Northampton Public Schools, Nia Rennix - Executive Director, American Red Cross of Central & Western Massachusetts, Mirna Grbesic - Retail Banking Officer, Westfield Bank, Victor Davila - Springfield City Councilor, Zander DiMare - Founder & Managing Partner, Aslan Wealth Partners,
Each brings unique professional expertise, fresh perspectives, and a shared commitment to Service Above Self. We are excited to have them as part of our Rotary family and look forward to the impact we'll make together. Please join us in welcoming our newest Rotarians!
Happy Birthday and Happy Rotary Anniversary to all of our members celebrating during August! Thank you for your continued commitment to Service Above Self and for the time, talent, and heart you bring to our club. Whether you're celebrating another year of life or another year of Rotary service, we appreciate everything you do to strengthen our club and our community.
