President's Message
Samalid Hogan
Dear Rotarians,

As Memorial Day approaches, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this important day and express my gratitude for the unwavering dedication and sacrifice of our nation's brave servicemen and servicewomen.

Memorial Day is a time for us to remember and honor those who have selflessly given their lives in service to our country. It serves as a poignant reminder of the immense courage and sacrifices made by these individuals and their families who have borne the weight of their absence.

As members of the Rotary Club, we sincerely appreciate the values of service, community, and fellowship. Memorial Day allows us to demonstrate these values by paying tribute to the fallen heroes who have protected our freedoms and way of life.

I encourage each of you to take a moment this Memorial Day to participate in a local commemoration or personal reflection to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Whether attending a memorial service, laying flowers at a gravesite, or simply observing a moment of silence, let us remember and express our gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

Furthermore, let us not forget the families of the fallen. Their loss is immeasurable, and their resilience and strength deserve our utmost support and respect. Consider reaching out to local veterans' organizations or offering assistance to military families in need as a tangible way to express our appreciation.

May this Memorial Day serve as a solemn reminder of the cost of our freedom and inspire us to strive for a world where peace and justice prevail. Together, let us honor the memory of the fallen and carry forward their legacy of service and sacrifice.

Thank you for your continued commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

Sincerely,

Samalid Hogan
