President's Message
Sue Mastroianni
January 25, 2019

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

We had a great meeting last Friday with Elms College President, Dr. Harry E. Dumay. We learned a lot about the Elms and also about Dr. Dumay who is originally from Haiti and one of seven children. His early childhood was spent without electricity or running water. He’s come a long way since then but it was obvious he has not forgotten his roots.

Our March “Calendar raffle” is at the printers and may be in our hands this Friday. I want to sincerely thank all our members who donated or solicited a raffle prize. We have over $1,900 in prizes!!!!  These raffles should be easy to sell at $10 each with all these wonderful prizes!

A big thank you to Jack Toner and all his efforts on behalf of the Rotary Foundation.  The drive is winding down but you can still make your donation online or give Jack or Richard a check on Friday. Donations can also be mailed to our PO Box 1033 Springfield, MA 01101. Every donation counts!

This Friday, Sina Holloman, Owner/CEO of HomeCare Hands, a 24/7 Care at Home agency, serving the Pioneer Valley and surrounding communities will be our speaker.

Looking forward to seeing you!

President Sue Mastroianni
