I hope you’ve all had a great week and while the weather hasn’t been picture perfect, I’m sure we have some local farmers that are very happy to have the rain. It goes to show that every negative (too much rain) has a positive for someone (good for the crops).

Ipsita Lizard, Executive Director of 413 Parents Association will be our speaker this Friday, July 27th. 413 Parents Association provides services to families in the area through child care, work empowerment and "The Good Neighbor Initiative". They seek to empower families in the area and strengthen our communities.
NOTE: The club is collecting books for Mason Wright’s expanded library. Hard cover, paperback, children’s books and DVD’s are all needed. Please put a “Donated By The Rotary Club of Springfield” book plate inside each item you donate. BP stickers can be picked up from Sue or Richard. The books can be dropped off to Alan at 74 Walnut St. in the Mason Square neighborhood or brought to any Rotary meeting. Alan Popp has collected and/or recreated items from the Rialto Skating Rink, Johnson's Bookstore and Court Square Theater. MEMBERS BIRTHDAYS It’s Time To Celebrate!!! During the month of July we will be celebrating the following members Birthday’s. Each ‘birthday celebrant” will receive a raffle ticket for EVERY MEETING they attend during their Birthday Month. DINNER AT FRIENDS OF THE HOMELESS
Our club will be serving dinner at Friends of The Homeless on Thursday August, 2, 2018. They are located at 755 Worthington St from 4:15-530PM. Those who have participated know what a rewarding experience it is. Hope to see you there.
