Springfield resident, G. Michael Dobbs served as the executive editor of Reminder Publishing for more than 20 years. He is a former radio talk show host and college instructor. He currently writes on a freelance basis for Reminder Publishing, is continuing his role as a host for programming on Focus Springfield and released his fifth book, "Made of the Pen and Ink: The Fleischer Studio, The New York Years." He is currently writing his sixth book and has two more planned. While not writing, he keeps up with housework, watches as many movies as he can and persists in his bad habits of smoking cigars and enjoying brown liquor.
