Sarah Tsitso was born and raised in western Massachusetts, living in Ludlow, Palmer and Springfield before making her home in Longmeadow. She attended Simmons University in Boston, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. She received her master’s degree from Bay Path University, where she studied nonprofit management. She is currently enrolled in Bay Path’s MFA program, pursuing a second master’s degree in creative nonfiction writing. During the course of her nonprofit career, Sarah has worked in leadership roles for a number of local nonprofits, including Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity, the East of the River 5 Town Chamber of Commerce, two Springfield-based Boys & Girls Clubs, and the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. She also spent eight years as editor of several weekly newspapers for Turley Publications. She has spent the past five years serving as executive director of The Zoo in Forest Park & Education Center. Sarah was named to BusinessWest’s inaugural Forty Under 40 Class in 2007, and was part of the Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield’s Board of Directors when it was named a “Difference Maker” by that publication. She won two awards from the New England Press Association for excellence in journalism, attended the Springfield Leadership Institute and received the YPS Excellence in Leadership Award. In 2015, she was selected as Woman of the Year by the Springfield Women’s Commission. Currently, Sarah lives in Longmeadow with her husband, Jason, their three-year-old Boston Terrier, Tessie, and a very rambunctious one-and-a-half –year old Black Lab named Benny. Their daughter, Vivian, is a first-year student at Emmanuel College in Boston, majoring in criminology and pre-law. |

Meghan Lemay is the Western MA Regional Manager at the Alzheimer's Association and has a Master of Science in Public Health. She has been at the Alzheimer's Association for 6 years, where she works to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding dementia. She will present on Alzheimer's disease, the warning signs of dementia, creating a Dementia Friendly Community, and available resources. |

Amie Miarecki has 20 years of experience working in the health and human-services field in both Greater Springfield and Greater Boston, providing marketing, community-relations, and development expertise. She promotes the company’s mission by engaging with the community and healthcare partners to help individuals find their next home while maintaining their independence and a dignified quality of life. Amie holds a master’s degree in corporate and organizational communication with a specialization in leadership from the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from UMass Amherst. She is the president of the Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield, a board member of the Professional Women’s Chamber, and a committee member for both the civic and community-engagement committee of the Springfield City Library and the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce community-engagement committee. In addition, she holds memberships with Hampshire County Young Professionals, the Western Mass. Elder Professionals Assoc., and the Retirement Marketing Directors Assoc. of Western Mass. Springfield resident, G. Michael Dobbs served as the executive editor of Reminder Publishing for more than 20 years. He is a former radio talk show host and college instructor. He currently writes on a freelance basis for Reminder Publishing, is continuing his role as a host for programming on Focus Springfield and released his fifth book, "Made of the Pen and Ink: The Fleischer Studio, The New York Years." He is currently writing his sixth book and has two more planned. While not writing, he keeps up with housework, watches as many movies as he can and persists in his bad habits of smoking cigars and enjoying brown liquor.
